Bioneers Virtual Conference

December 5th-6th and 12th-13th, 2020

This year’s theme is “Beyond the Great Unraveling: Weaving the World Anew.” As we enter into a permanent emergency, it’s much easier to see what’s dying than what’s being born. South Cumberland Tennessee Naturalist Program

Multiple dates in 2020

The schedule below outlines the 10 four-hour classes, plus one bonus session, that will be part of the 2020-2021 curriculum.  To earn certification as a Tennessee Naturalist, you must attend all ten of the program's regular classes, plus complete 40 hours of volunteer work in support of a natural area in Tennessee.

Tennessee Women In Green Leadership Award

The Tennessee Women In Green Leadership Award is presented to a a person who is a guiding force for sustainability leadership in the state. The recipient is selected by the leadership of both USGBC Tennessee and Tennessee Women In Green.

The inaugural award recipient is Dr. Heather J. Brown, Director, School of Concrete and Construction Management at Middle Tennessee State University.

The presentation occurred at the annual Women In Green Leadership Breakfast hosted by USGBC TN and TWIG.
